No. Contributors will not be compensated. All contributors will received a free copy of the book, and can purchase additional copies AT COST (approx. $3.00.copy) if you choose.
Who is in charge of this project?
I am a life-long Springsteen fan, and a writer, so I decided to merge my two passions and document my Springsteen journey. I thought it would be fun to give other fans an opportunity to share their stories too. I am not a corporation, not a company. I'm just one person with a dream!
Is there a submission fee?
There is no cost to submit your story.
About me and the motivation for this project
I grew up in Freehold, NJ, Bruce's Hometown, so I was exposed to Bruce-mania early on. As a sullen, depressed teen, his music provided a glimmer of hope and an escape from the difficulties of growing up, and the live shows were nothing less than spiritual. Over the years, my passion for all things Bruce became part of my identity and I went to extremes to see him up close. I even hid in the bathroom at a nightclub for four hours because I heard Bruce might show up! The best thing about my connection with Springsteen was the friendships I formed over the years, especially with Patty, with whom I have attended so many shows. I thought it would be fun to collect stories from other fans and compile them into a book/blog/video series. Here's your chance to share YOUR Springsteen stories so together, we can capture the magical connection Bruce has cultivated with his fans.
