Bruce is in the House! (or shall I say, hotel?)

I was living on the east coast, Patty on the west coast, so we met in the middle! We scored tickets, booked a hotel room and proceeded to play scrabble in the lobby, to kill time until the show.
At around 4pm, there was some commotion in the lobby...and there was Bruce, walking into the hotel, carrying his guitar, with just one other "handler"...and a crowd of others who somehow found out he was there...and US! We of course jumped up and followed him to the elevator, took a few pics  and then tried to figure out how to run into him again! I'm looking for these pics...

This is definitely an amazing hotel that you have featured. I wasn't able to travel a lot this year, but I want to make up for it next year. I think that I can do a lot of great things as long as I work hard for it. I want to keep on earning money so that I can travel to places next year. Thank you for inspiring me to work even harder to make it happen, my man.

I have three life-long passions, and Bruce Springsteen is at the top of that list. I grew up in Freehold too, and I felt a connection as soon as I heard Born to Run at my friend Carol's house, when I was around 14. His music touched me.  I've been to over 50 live shows, and have seen him play in bars, at the Jersey Shore.
Its not only about the music. His live shows are legendary..taking us to another dimension. For 4 hours, during the show, and for days afterwards, I feel like I've been injected with a dose of hope, love, inspiration, and connection with the universe...it's like having great sex. The more you get, the more you want. For the past 30 years or so, I've shared these moments with my best friend, Patty. Going to these epic shows with someone who "gets it"...is such a gift. So, I decided to post some memories and stories about my journey with Bruce, and with Patty. Enjoy!
