PROJECT YONI
As I get more into taking underwater photos, its fun having a specific intention. For example, on this dive, I kept seeing tubulars, which reminded me of the female anatomy, AKA pussy; vagina; vulva; Yoni.
Yoni is a Sanskrit word that has been interpreted to literally mean the womb, and the female organs of generation.
In the Indian tradition, the Yoni is the divine passage, or the source of life. The Yoni is both uterus and vagina. It transcends the anatomical because it is also a temple where the divine female essence can be honored.
The Yoni represents the power of a woman to conceive and give birth.
The Yoni is a sacred space in which the mother and child are reunited. It is the place where that is invisible takes shape.
The Yoni is both magical and erotic, a space of wisdom, creation and healing.
As every coral tubular is unique, beautiful and sacred, so is every woman's yoni.
Let's celebrate our beautiful YONIs today!
